So how does it work?

We have several kinds of classes available.

Courses

These are 4-8 weeks of classes where you pay up front and learn a specific skill or genre of improv with the same group of people each week. I will also offer beginner’s improv sessions in this format. Tickets for currently available courses will be linked to below.

Create your own show (Jan-May)

Drop-ins

These happen (almost) every Thursday and are for anyone of any experience level. They offer a good introduction to improv and will build into a complete toolkit of improv over the months and years. Drop-ins are not ticketed but have a class capacity of 16 people - so you need to sign up in advance using the links in the table below. Drop-ins carry a suggested donation of £20 (paid by contactless card or cash on the door) but you can pay whatever you want - and that includes not paying at all if you’re currently unable to do so. I never want finances to be a reason you can’t experience improv.

Note that currently ALL The Pretend Company drop-in classes run from 7pm-9pm at the Farnham Maltings, Bridge Square, Farnham GU9 7QR

You can get more info about the class by hovering over the title and tapping Open.
