I’m leading several different types of improv class in Farnham.
These are 6-8 weeks of classes where you pay up front and learn a specific skill or genre of improv with the same group of people each week. I will also offer induction to improv sessions in this format. Tickets for currently available courses will be linked to below.

These happen (almost) every Thursday and are for anyone of any experience level. They offer a good introduction to improv and will build into a complete toolkit of improv over the months and years. Drop-ins are not ticketed but have a class capacity of 16 people - so you need to sign up in advance using this link - https://calendly.com/thepretendcompany/improv-drop-in. Drop-ins carry a suggested donation of £20 (paid by contactless card or cash on the door) but you can pay whatever you want - and that includes not paying at all if you’re currently unable to do so. I never want finances to be a reason you can’t experience improv.
These are specialist improv shows where attendees are both the audience and performers. We are hoping to put these on with neighbouring improv communities in Woking & Guildford but dates are still TBC. We’ll update you when we have firmer plans.

Note that currently ALL classes run from 7pm-9pm at the Farnham Maltings, Bridge Square, Farnham GU9 7QR in Dance Studio 2.

Chris Mead is an improviser, writer and creator who lives in the beautiful Surrey Hills with his wife, Laura & Cavapoo dog-pal, Radio. His focus is on emotionally-connected, relationship-driven improv. He is lucky enough to teach and perform all over the world. Chris studied theatre at the prestigious Royal Holloway college and continues to explore improv with every school, theatre and practitioner he can find.
