Method

There are many variations to this game but the thing they all have in common is that you're asking the group to create something—

one—

word—

at—

a—

time.

You can play these games in pairs, in threes or as a giant group. It works incredibly well in all cases.

The progression I would normally go through would be:

Wise sayings - create a wise saying (like something you might see photoshopped over a mountain range on Instagram) one word at a time. That is something inspirational or profound or instructional.

"There are cracks in everything, that's how the light gets in."

"Whether you think you can or you think you can't - you're probably right."

"A stitch in time, saves nine."

Something like that.

The group decides when the wise saying is over wordlessly and as one by turning to each other and saying "Hmmmm, wise". (get them to practise this all together)

Trip Advisor review - The same idea but now you are creating a review of a place, restaurant or tourist attraction. You are now doing paragraphs so add in a new command. A player may say "full stop" to end a sentence rather than contributing a word. The review is over when someone gives a star rating "THREE STARS ⭐⭐⭐".

Story - This is the gold standard version. A whole story with a beginning, a middle and an end.
